Driver’s
Education
Scholarship
Driver’s education is prohibitively expensive for many students in our community. When students cannot afford drivers education, it is difficult to find work, keeping them in a cycle of poverty and making further education more difficult. Kiddin’ Around is working with Aloha Driving School to provide a driving scholarship program so that students can take drivers education, get their drivers license, and be able to gain independence, education, and gainful employment.
Business Week teaches students how to own and operate a business. Students form a company and, with a member of the community, create a product and learn what it takes to run a successful business.
Lewis County Libraries
Many school libraries in our community are underfunded and in need of an update. Kiddin’ Around recognizes how closely a properly staffed and equipped school library is to students’ success. Join us in promoting education in our community.
